A LIBRARIANS WORLD- THE RARE COLLECTION CLOSE-UP BY ONG ENG CHUAN

Ever wondered what exactly a librarian does? In this special edition of talks, find out what makes our librarians tick as they share highlights of the National Library, Singapore’s collection.

Join us on 21 July as we get up close and personal with old and rare books from the National Library's Rare Materials Collection. Containing a rich array of historical research materials on Singapore and Southeast Asia, don’t miss the chance to view highlights from the collection and have your questions answered by our Rare Materials Collection librarian. Find out what materials, besides books, make up the collection and the differences in handling them compared to other library materials.
